Mike-
	I had this same problem (albeit I awhile ago). My dealer (in WI) 
replaced the exhaust pipe under warranty. When the mechanic was replacing the
pipe he sheared the bolts on the catalytic converter, so I got a new cat at
the same time. I think the exhaust pipe heat shield is spot welded to the
pipe so there is no simple replacement or tightening of the shield.
