"Warranty" must be the most misspelled word on the Miata list (and countless other newsgroups, etc). It's not pronounced the same as "guarantee", so why spell it the same way? Sorry Herb, I'm not picking on you in particular, but I had difficulty reading your otherwise articulate posting. I see this mistake so often I was starting to wonder whether it really was the correct spelling...
