Subject: Fuel Filter/s Question

I was looking at the manual at the service recommendation
for the fuel filter. Replacement is supposed to be done
at 60k miles.  The illustrations in the manual show a 
low pressure filter located with the pump in the tank and a high
pressure filter located underneath the car, external to the tank. 
Does the replacement recommendation apply to both filters or 
just the high pressure (external) one?
