I had the dealer install the Mazda 6CD changer when I took delivery of the car. It is probably 3"x7"x12", mounted sideways near the trunk latch. When I eject the CD magazine, it pops out towards the driver side. I've been totally happy with the unit, it only skips when I drive over a big enough bump that my heart skips too. There is a remote control+wire that runs to the cabin and I stash it in the glove slot below the stereo. I can't put big hard luggage in the trunk, but so what? That's what soft luggage and duffel bags are for. I never had a problem with 2 day and 3 day 2 person road trips. MattSkew mattsq@microsoft.com
