Miata Tribe,
Just a sacreligious note here about the zipper issue.  Since I installed my 
roll bar some 2.5 years ago, I have not unzipped my back window (can't lay it 
flat due to bar uprights).  So I fold the top down and put gentle roll in the 
window; everything lies down just fine.  I have had no, repeat no, problems 
whatsoever with the top or the window.  I run with the top down probably 75% 
of the time and put it back up every night.  It's not cracking, leaking, 
scratched, or any of that bad stuff at all.  After hearing all of all these 
zipper/window/top troubles,  I wonder if not unzipping the window is in fact a 
secret to longer top life?
