An interesting idea. Do you think there will be any substantial increase
in intake noise?? Car designers try to minimize engine noise coming
through the firewall -- the hole will not only provide a better path for
engine etc. noise, but will 'import' another noise source. On the other
hand, maybe it will end up sounding like a Formula 1 racer...me too! me
too! 

Be sure to share your experiences. I'm certain you have a lot of
Miatadors' interest.
