Hm, if you mean the area in front of the windshield below the wipers, I was told once by a source I regard very highly that the pressure in that area is actually lower than ambient. I suggest you measure the pressure in whatever area you intend to use before you cut any holes in your firewall, instead of making assumptions. You don't want to find out afterward that you've lost horsepower by trying to suck in low pressure air. -- Michael J.
