This is what I do. Someone suggested that I take one of my adjustment knobs  
(you get two) and put a dab of superglue on it an permanently glue it to the  
left rear shock. I haven't done this yet since I've got skinny arms and can  
squeeze in there OK but it would prevent any fears of dropping the knob (I keep  
a 10mm wrench around just in case).
