Subject: Miata friendly radar detectors

Having been pulled over 6 times in the first 5 months of Miata ownership
the time has come to get a radar detector. I want to get either
a cordless model, or preferably a remote model, like the Whistler
5000SE. Either of these 2 options appears more Miata-friendly than
conventional cabled detectors both in terms of aesthetics and 
theft-proofness.

Any experiences +/- with cordless/remote detectors? Suggestions?
