Not much falsing, good enough warning on all of the laser encounters I've been aware of. It's cordless, which is why I bought it as well. I got it from Damark as a reconditioned unit for $129. I don't know if they still sell them or not. They claim the battery should go 100 hours. I doubt I'm getting that much, probably closer to 60 or 70 hours.
