The price of $4.97 for the Motorcraft "Mazda" filter is a good one
compared to the price at my dealer (about $7.50).  However, several
dealers advertise in Miata Magazine Mazda filters for the Miata for
about $4.00.  Shipping is extra, however, but you pay no tax.  If you
only want one or two filters the shipping charges do raise the price. 
However, one  dealer advertises no shipping charges with a price
slightly less than $5.00.
