The November issue of Car and Driver give a quick 1 page review of the '94 Miata. Most of it you already know by reading this list. Some neat things mentioned were: 0-60 8.8 sec, Quarter Mile 16.8 @ 82 mph. 70-0 braking 169 ft. (Better than the Vette and 300ZX) New steel support rods underneath and a new brace between the seatbelt anchor points in the cockpit suposedly increase torsional rigidity by 10%. They claim the interior brace, although covered, "clutters up the tonneau area, detracting from the otherwise tidy-looking cockit." The brake rotor diameters increase by .8 inch all around, and the fronts increase in thickness by .2 inches. (Hmm retrofit time!) The new wheels are not only half an inch wider, but two pounds lighter! Other than the new wheels and a color change on the rear badge, the car looks the same as the '93. The picture shown is of a red car, I have yet to see the new Blue, or the R model which is due in January. Brian
