>Piet asks about the soft top in the cold weather: I've never put any gunk on the soft top of my '91, but it still looks and works fine after 2 winters in upstate New York (USA). Temperatures average around 15F (-9C) and dip down to -10F (-23C). No cracking or visual damage. The top is put up and down in this weather, too (I have a nice pair of Mariner Blue earmuffs), and it was parked outside for the first winter. (I meant for it to be a summer car, but the first season my Landcruiser developed throwout bearing-itis in January and the second season Landcruiser transmission-itis in December. Now that's on blocks and I have a more reliable Ford Explorer, so hopefully the miata will spend the winter in the garage this year) I suppose I should look into gunking the roof, since the subject has come up.
