My 91 with 35k on it has developed a low speed stumble in 1st or 2nd gear. It has become much worse after removing spark plugs and cleaning them and installing new wires. I have made sure everything snapped together right. At mid and high rpms there is no stumble at all. No miss either. The plugs are split fires with about 20k on them. They came out looking clean and uniform. The wires are the blue NGK's and they suck. I made sure they fit on right but they are not a good set of wires. The upper seal did not fit well and when removing one tonight to check to see that the plugs had seated properly, the seal that fits around the spark plug insulator stuck with the plug. I have not been able to get it out and will have to get some speacial tools to do this. I was, however, able to fit the wire back together so I can get to work. This did not affect the stumble. I really don't think the wires are the cause of the stumble. The only reason I did not get the Ultras is that no one had them. Something about the boots not being available from Japan?? Any ideas on the stumble?? Where to get Ultra wires? And, what is the part # for the NGK equivilent to the split fire "type" plug (i realize the split is in a different place). Thanks for your help.
