Piet and Barry discussed Sticker Prices...... Got my '91 for $700 under sticker. I believe the reason I could was that I was at least two hours from the nearest city (defined as a place where two interstate highways intersect). Also no prep charges and they go to the regristry for you to get the license plates. Out here it is difficult to sell them because: A) It is not an American made Pick-up B) It is not used C) It is frivolous since most of the roads are dirt. I also refused to pay for any option that I didn't want. The $900 air conditioning was only $300 because I said that's all it was worth to me, and the tonneau cover was free (the sticker said $100, I think). I did this on purchasing my pick-up, too, and got a free two-tone paint job because I said "keep looking until you find one with one-tone because I don't want it" They finally offered me that, the digital stereo and the cloth seats OFF the sticker price Actually, I put my deposit on this miata over the phone from a dealership in Boston who was giving me the run-around. They were kind of pissed when they realized that "can I make a phone call?" didn't mean to my bank. But hey. I'm the customer. Kate
