Well, ones with their top down, at least. Now, now, Brad I had someone in a Miata flash his lights just today at lunch and I waved back so not every Miata driver out there is rude. One problem here in Kirkland is that if I waved at every Miata I saw I'd never have time to put my hands on the steering wheel. Of course some other bozo with his top *up* didn't even look my way but, hey, I figured it *must* be a rent-a-car since no real Miata driver in Seattle would _ever_ leave his top up when it's 75 and sunny. > Sheesh - you'd think you might *notice* another person with almost as > much good taste in cars as you have, and wave back. I'd expect this from CRX or Capri drivers but not from Miata owners. Perhaps Mazda sould give prospective owners a personality test before selling them the car. Or maybe it was the aformentioned rent-a-car driver. Just to show that all rent-a-car drivers are not philistines, one of the Canadians from Cantel working here at McCaw temporarily has been driving a rental Miata for the last couple of months. When the rental company announced that they were going to stop renting Miatas until next summer (they're replacing all their '92s with '94s) he decided to *buy* the car from them! > Brad "And maybe even del Sols, too" Martinson NO!
