I do mine every 5,000 miles or so, and I *do* cross tires from one side to
the other. Most (90%+) of my driving is highway miles, which put little
wear on *any* part of the car; the rest of my driving is, shall we say
"spirited?" Including charging through the Poconos (NE PA), back roads,
autocrossing (not on my street tires), and general hell-raising. :)
