Subject: Time:6:46 PM OFFICE MEMO Shifting thoughts Date:11/21/93 I have a blackC, '93, 4000mi and am wondering about the breakin time for the shifter. It is less stiff, especially 1-2, but still clicks/resists a bit on shifting up. I wonder if this is "normal" and whether I might expect the shift to become smoother with time and when in other's experiences. When I test drove the car with the salesman, he was showing off the car's power and missed a shift, 4<3, and had bit of grinding of gears. Is gear grinding something to worry about in the long term? Finally, does anyone have experiences with tonneau covers - such as, can I install the attachement points myself, is the Mazda tonneau of good quality etc.?
