Anybody know why there is such a > discrepancy with blue-book, or is Austin just flooded with Miatas? Blue-book varies a lot from area to area. Right now the lowest price in The Seattle Times or Post-Intelligencer for a '90 Miata is $10,900, with several well-equipped low-mileage cars in the $11,000-$12,000 range. You hardly ever see a Miata in the local papers for under $10.9K and when you do it's usually a red flag that the car's been wrecked or abused. BTW: I've heard that the Miata has the best resale value of _any_ car. If you're looking to make a bundle you might think about buying a Ferrari elsewhere and selling it here in Seattle. For some reason used Ferrari prices are about 20% higher here than in the rest of the country. Must be Bill Gates and all those Microsoft millionaires driving the prices up :-). --- ___ __ ___ Alan Dahl | alan.dahl@mccaw.com -or- /_ / / / Analysts International Co. | adahl@axysdev.nwest.mccaw.com / / _/_ /___ 10655 N.E. 4th St. Suite 804 | (NeXTMail OK) Bellevue, WA 98004 | PH: (206) 803-4496 | FAX: (206) 828-1300
