I finally got my issue of the MCA magazine.  Saw the full page ad for
the superchargers - called and talked to Downing.  Here's the poop:

Current price is $1950.  Price will go up to $2150 after November
25 (if my memory serves).  About 80 orders have been placed, they
are getting about 50 superchargers per month from Eaton currently.
Thus there is a potential backlog on orders.  They're taking $500
deposits until the orders can be filled.  The supercharger mounts
_above_ the existing power steering pump (if applic).  He said that
3 hours installation time is a bit optimistic, but that he just
installed one himself for the first time last weekend, and said
that it went smoothly.

I asked him about the naca ducted headlight cover and he acknowledged
that people are making them, and that getting one would be a "good
thing" for use with the 'charger, but that it's not included with
the 'charger kit.

I guess I misunderstood the email going around - wasn't the naca duct
included with the kit?  Or is this a different supercharger kit?  Any 
thoughts are appreciated, at $1950 this seems like a pretty killer
deal (0-60 in 6.8, 30mpg hwy hooo - ahhh! - my best Pacino in 
"Scent of a Woman").
