I too am eagerly awaiting my issue of Miata mag to check out this article but I recently dropped by the local Mazda dealer to check out the new 94, steal a brochure and I feel this effort justifies me in throwing in my 2 cents... :) IMHO (finally figured out what this acronym meant), the new alloy wheels on the 94 are a definite improvement over the standard wheels on the 1990-93 models. They appear finer in detail which equals "lighter" and "sportier" in my mind and eventually equals "quicker" and "better handling." Not so much in reality, you understand, but in perception. But then again, perception *is* reality.... Another opinion tossed to the wind... Well, after reading about the details in the latest mag, IMHO they are doing the right things. Seems to me to parallel the types of incremental improvements that Porsche has always done with their cars, and seems like they are responding to educated consumers' wishes. I am happy, though, to have my "original" 91. -Jeff.
