Fellow HP Junkies, I don't know about the rest of the country, but around the Washington DC area, you can pick up a clean, low mile (even new) '93 RX7 R1 or Touring for way less than $25K. The prices I've seen on a new MR2 turbo are in that range and beyond. (Is it really a twin turbo?) My ideal garage would contain a supercharged Miata for when I'm feeling fast and mellow and want the wind in my hair. The RX7's for when I'm feeling just plain fast, a 5 series BMW for family cruises in late Fall, early Spring and rainy weather in general, and a V8 Grand Cherokee when it's really miserable outside or I'm towing something to the racetrack. Oh, yeah, and some race cars, too. Hey, I can dream can't I? -Al -------------------------------------- Date: 11/3/93 11:46 AM To: Al Jenab >From: Ronnie B Kon I think I'd seriously look at an MR2 twin turbo T-top if I couldn't afford an RX7 before putting a turbo/supercharger in my Miata. Performance exhaust/intake, on the other hand... Ronnie
