I personally feel that the miata club should issue a policy statement
condemning the origional equipment tires.  Were I buying a new miata
I would refuse delivery of one that was so equiped.  I am not aware
of anything written about these tires, but I owned a set and was
involved in two spins in wet conditions (driving on an interstate
with no turns in one case).  If you got 'em, leave it in the garage
when it rains.

I am surprised Ralph Nader hasn't picked up on these yet.

Yokohama A509s provide a wonderful alternative.
