Recently I was driving a friend on a rainy night to a store. Cornering a 90 degree turn at, oh, about the blinding speed of 3 mph, she thought the car was sliding. (She doesn't trust anything as small as a Miata, hence we are not dating. And I guess her husband wouldn't like our dating much either. ;-() ) I didn't even notice the alleged slide. All this talk about oversteer/understeer made me wonder if this is what happened then. I have never (outside of rental cars) ever driven a front wheel car - 77 Malibu, 86 S-10, 92 Miata, and a 94 Dakota. I guess what some consider oversteer I consider normal. If someone wants to type a bit, could anyone explain to me (not necessarily through the list) what oversteer refers too? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Edward Lewis NASA/GSFC Code 520.0 Center Network Environment "Yeah, and if a frog had wings, it wouldn't bump its rear when it jumped" - Nathan Arizona (from "Raising Arizona")
