some consider oversteer I consider normal. If someone wants to type a bit, could anyone explain to me (not necessarily through the list) what oversteer refers too? Easy, I just gave some driving lesson to my friend's baby "Peanut" the other day in Blooming Dale's, so it's still fresh in my mind. It goes something like: "Ok, Peanut, understeering is when Snoopy, hanging in front, smashes his face into the cosmetic counter and oversteering is when your bottle on the rear handle hits the cute sales lady". Anyway, I hate the stock SF-325, like Beavis sez...they just suck in the rain, which is what the original poster claimed. Polishing one's driving skill is always a good idea, but the Bridgestones suck on wet road period. I wonder what kind of Christmas presents the guy who approves these tires get from Santa every year? Can you say kick back? I found out why Porsche continued to outfit their cars with Pirelli P7's well into the 80's, when my Reeboks had better traction and wear characteristics. I did many miles in my old 911 with Pirelli P7 in the Black Forest, in mostly horrible weather, so the Miata is child's play. But the Yoko A509 is infinitely more confidence inspiring and thus lots more fun and safer. - Steve.
