I just had my first problem on my 93 Black C.  Yesterday, I noticed that
the heater wouldn't turn off and it was getting pretty warm in the cockpit.

I took the dash apart today to see if I could trace the problem. I found
that the end of the cable that comes off of the temperature lever had come
off of its pivot point disk where another cable controls the mix. The cable
end was nothing more than a loop that fit on a sheet metal pin.  There was
nothing that secured the loop on the pin.  I couldn't find any loose pieces
on the floor.  Has anyone else noticed this connection?
