Our '94 came with the dreaded bridgestones, and they are poor in the dry, and awful in the wet. It takes little provocation to break the FRONT or back end loose, and while recovery is simple, having to do so at such low speeds is silly. We have BFG Comp T/A HR4's on our Escort GT, they grip better than the stock GT+4's, in the dry and wet, and almost never hydroplane( 80+ through standing water). The Escort runs away from the miata in a light mist! Will probably replace the miata shoes soon with some Comp T/A's, 205/50/15's, on 15x6's, it's tough to find all-season 50-series tires. I believe Mazda selected the Bridgestones for their lightweight carcasses, I took one of our wheels off last week, and it couldn't have weighed more than 20 lbs. Stan Whitney '94 - C, Black
