Thanks to those who responded to my question about what is over and under
steer.  Apparently all I have ever experienced is oversteer.  Except for a
few months ago, driving a rental in San Francisco, I tried to make a U turn
on a wide, divided avenue, and almost ended up in the parking lane.  I
chalked it up to the steering wheel slipping in my hands...
