I have a similar driving mix, I reckon to get 25mpg including town driving,
28 on the freeway. I frequently make "banzai runs" for the 100 miles
between Austin and College Station - this drops mileage into the mid-teens -
but we are talking continual red-line driving in all 5 gears.

This corresponds with the best I have ever achieved.
