For reference, my '93 gets around 28mpg in town (side streets and 
stop-and-go freeway) and 32mpg on trips (constant 75mph). Even autoxing
and pulling a trailer to and from it still gets around 25.

I'll trade you my 12 mile stop and go freeway commute for your drive to 
work! Seriously, I had an Acura Legend that I drove about 3 miles to work 
every day, averaging around 21mpg. Then I moved and drove 12 miles to 
work, averaging around 26mpg.
