NUmerous people have mentioned they think there is considerable drag/poor MPG
when the top is down. I have not noticed any significant decrease in fuel
mileage when driving with the top down. I actually got my best highway mpg (~70
MPH) on a long trip with the top down. DUring that trip I got about 34 MPG. I
don't think there is any substantial effect on fuel consumption when the top is
down.
