Maybe when we get an operational FAQ (note that I am NOT volunteering :-)
we could have a list of things/problems to look for when buying used. 
There are probably enough used Miatas for sale and there is certainly
enough net.knowledge to make it a worthwhile endeavor...

I can't contribute much - nothing's really broken on mine yet.  (knock, knock)
