well, speaking for myself, i _started out_ as an RX7 owner, and
after 5 years moved over to the Miata.  i always liked the rotary
for its uniqueness, never mind the other pleasing aspects of RX7s.
i still like *both* Miatas and RX7s and wouldn't mind having one
of each in my driveway.  each is a great car in its own way.

all that said, if i had to choose one car to own, it'd be a Miata.
(which in fact is what i have :-)
