My best estimate is >around 2250 lbs in racing trim (no gas, no spare). >Just wanted to see what I'll be up against! ;> My car ('91 base) weighs in at 2075 lbs. in autox trim on racing scales. I'm skeptical of truck scales -- if you do weigh your car on race scales, I'd be interested in the weight you get. I'm also curious about the weights of various year/model Miatas. For 1990, the listed weights were 2116 base, and 2182 A. The 2116 number seems right based on my car if it excludes any fuel load. The 2182 number seems high for just the addition of power steering/radio/alloys. More curiously, the listed weight jumped up for 1992 (I don't have the '91 brochure -- could some one check on this?) to 2220 (or so) -- I'm sure the track bar can't weigh more than a few pounds. Maybe Mazda added fuel load to curb weight? Michael Butler
