Whoa there Will, Double the Thorazine from now on! I don't think anybody suggested there will never be a car better than the Miata or that you shouldn't want an RX7. Or that you should feel bad about a secret lust for Morgans (I understand they found the gene that causes this). Or that you should sell your Miata and buy a Z28 Camaro if that's what you want. You should seek immediate treatment for the Lincoln problem, though. ;^) You did imply that some folks had RX7 hangups. Unlike certain other viscerally pleasurable pursuits, you can have as many cars as you like and not get in too much trouble. Cars won't get jealous. Hell, I've still got a '67 E-Type that I'm never selling. I'm getting a race car this winter, AND I STILL WANT MORE CARS! It's a sickness, but one I'm not very interested in being cured of. As far as cute little roadsters go, I have a picture of the 1996 Porsche Boxster staring me in the face right now and I'm very interested in BMW's upcoming Miata fighter. Who knows what'll happen when I drive either one... -Al -------------------------------------- Date: 12/3/93 8:11 AM To: Al Jenab >From: Will Zehring Fellow fiends (and I do mean fiends): I promise never to sell my miata, never to buy an RX-7, never to buy a Lincoln, and certainly, never to buy a Chrysler (as I may be tempted to buy a Lincoln, and I have promised not to do that). God, its going to be a bloody shame if a car EVEN NICER than the miata comes out. I'm glad my old man didn't say the same thing about his 67 Buick skylark. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, it is just a car. I suppose I should keep my interest in Morgans a secret. OPPS! There I go. Regards, WZ aka (wzehrin@cms.cc.wayne.edu)
