Was watching an old James Bond movie last night (You Only Live Twice), and in one of the early chase scenes, he is being driven around in a small white convertible that I believe is a 2000GT. It couldn't be more of a dead ringer for the Miata if Mazda tried. I couldn't see much of it's details, but over- all proportions were very close. I think this car was a prototype, or if not, not produced in quantity or imported to the states. Am I right with the name, and could it have been made by Toyota? If you took away its stationary round headlights, softened the front wheel fender buldges, and squinted a little bit, it's a Miata! tom capek
