Can't remeber the title, but it was about some little kid who acquired an incredible pitching arm (freak accident) and ended up pitching for the Chicago (Cubs? White Sox?) team. The movie was awful, but I remeber the Miata. The sleazeball in the movie (the little kid's mother's greedy boyfriend) was the kid's agent and he drove the Miata. They showed him comically trying to fold himself into and out of the Miata, as if it were a car for a much more youthfull physique than this guy posessed. Anyway, it got me paying attention to how I get in and out of the car, and sometimes I must look pretty funny, too, especially when the back is acting up again. The movie's definitely a three-thumbs down affair, but if you're forced to watch it, look for the Miata. -Al -------------------------------------- HEY, THE CUBS WON DIDN'T THEY! I GREW UP IN CHICAGO AND ENDURED '69, '84, AND '89. I TRIED TO GET A PLATE IN TEXAS THAT READ "CUBS WIN" WITH REFERENCE TO HARRY CARAY'S FAMOUS CRY AT THE END OF CUBBIE VICTORIES. HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY CALL IT A THREE THUMBS DOWN. GRANTED, IT WAS A STUPID MOVIE AND ONLY FLEW BECAUSE WE WERE CAPTIVE FLYERS, BUT THEY WON!
