I was at Monster Motorsports while they were preparing the Mega Monster
for its first public appearance last summer.  I haven't seen one on
the road yet.  While the Monster V-8 Miatas (the weak little normally
aspirated 5 liter ) at least still *looks* like a Miata, the Mega
Monster bore little resemblance.  The car was *extremely* impressive,
though, IMHO.  Everything I saw going into it appeared first class
and balanced with the power of the engine (if that's even possible).
They told me it would *embarass* F40s.

It's not a Miata any more, though.
