Since I was the one to raise the stink, let me make a few comments. Shel, I've scanned the previous digests and I can find no mention of you wanting to post the Miata list to Compuserve. I don't doubt your intentions, but you can save yourself a lot of work and placate cranky people like me by simply telling the people on Compuserve how to get the monthly (or weekly or daily) digest from Andy's Listserv machine. You don't need ftp for this, a simple note to listserv will suffice -- check any of the previous digests for instructions. This will save you from "editing" the digests -- another thing I'm uncomfortable with. I realize the culture on Compuserve (or the more fascist Prodigy) differs from Internet. IMHO, the digests should be transmitted in full (well, maybe minus the header garbage) -- warts and all. As to the "notice" to be attached to the digests, this is what I suggest: Note: No part of this list is to be used for any commercial purposes. Prior consent of the author is required for any non-commercial publication. Comments? Michael Butler
