i dunno, people tend to follow and park especially close these days
no matter what the car.  it just seems more intimidating when
you're sitting in the Miata since it's so small.

on a related note, though - when a friend and i switched vehicles
for a short trip, i drove his Ford F-150 pickup and he followed
in my Miata.  at a stoplight, i couldn't see him behind me AT ALL
behind the liftgate.  something to keep in mind, i guess...
