My girlfriend's Miata (90) has quite a few door dings, etc. I assume it is due to the thin metal Mazda uses for the body. > No, its due to things running into them. Do these dings happen when you/your girlfriend are driving or when it's left stationary ? Has anyone tried or had any luck with the "paintless" body repair shops? My understanding is that they heat or cool the dinged area, and then tap it lightly from the back. Their claim is that they can fix most minor dings, hail damage, etc without bondo. Andrea is quite distressed about these dings, as they seem to be increasing in number rapidly. We always park as far away from other cars as is reasonable; we don't want to park too far out in a parking lot and have the car stolen or broken into. So, a cheap and good looking solution to these dings would be great. Thanks! --KDR
