12:05PM 1/18/94 Dear Fellow Miatateers: I've read a quick solution to this by adding a K-Mart buzzer but I hope someone has a better idea. Question: Is there a way to kill all or part of lights (headlights, and parklights particularly) from coming on when the ignition key is off ? I know they're needed to be on at times of emergency (such as emergency lights) but being that the car is in an emergency, leaving the keys in the ignition at that time seems appropriate (no risk of being stolen here). My peeve is that, minor vandals or curious onlookers sometimes switch these on without tripping my alarm system ... and if I don't catch them, I could return to a dead battery ... and potentially stuck somewhere (ie., this is with the top down). Any help, appreciated. Marvin ... 91' Silver Type A package.
