Subject: ARAGRAH!  Paint peeling...

The paint on the passenger side windshield frame has started to peel away
from the primer on my White '90.  I'm at 49K miles, but the 3 year waranty
has already run out.  I've taken it to the dealer, and they are waiting
to hear from the factory rep to see if it will cost me anything.  My
independent bodyman has quoted me $90 to refinish the windshield frame.
(I may pay this just to be sure the job is done right...) 

I don't remember hearing about anyone with paint defects.  Is this a common
problem?  Has Mazda done anything for owners outside of the 3 yr waranty?
