I know many of you will be old hat at this, but I'm new on 
this board, so I beg your indulgences.

What is the quickest, cheapest way to use that space
underneath the stock "Panasonic" miata tape/radio player.

I see that Mazda now offers a slot for it, but is this
or after market people better?  Is it difficult to
install yourself?  I can do anything that requires just handtools
and without jacking the car (!?).
