Hello,
This really needs a car with carbs & manual choke to do well.  The best 
antidote for tailgaters I've seen is where you drill and tap a hole near the 
end of your tailpipe and insert a spark plug.  Then you run an extra switched 
wire from the distributer.  When a tailgater presents him/herself, pull out 
the choke (so mixture is very rich), step on the gas, and hit the remote spark 
plug switch.  Instant 20 foot flame thrower and presto! no more tailgater.  
This is I believe called negative re-enforcement.
