Alan Dahl asks about personalized license plates on Miatas.
Mine reads:

     NO LUCAS

Former sports car owners always figure it out.  Lot's of others ask
(send me e-mail to ask, if you like).  This plate was pictured in the
May '91 issue of Automobile Magazine after one of the editors spotted
it in the Miata corral at the '90 Monterey Historic Car Races.  For
the next two years(!) people would flag me on the street and tell me
they saw it in the mag.  For someone who hates to draw attention, this
has been a new (and fun) experience for me!
