thanks for the couple replies i have read sooo far ..
 but ..
 at the local events ..
 i don't see it as a problem.... ... as someone stated .
 things are a bit more    'laxed.....
AND since i run 25-30 events per year... most times I don't even have to go thru tech ..
 i just have my son bring the card over .. etcetc ... They tech people know I run  tri-state and divisional type events ..
 so my car MUST be legal in the class i run ....
i have seen folks at PRO events get protested for the lack or location of
 the window washer reservous....
 SO, an airintake  might really cause some hoppa-la ...
