I have been using the Splitfire plugs in my Miata for about a year now (installed them last Spring). I can't testify as to whether they have really increased my gas mileage or power, but they certainly haven't caused me any problems either. They are a little expensive though... Let me re-iterate some warnings from an earlier date that Bosch Platinum plugs may not survive the Miata's funky one-coil-per-two-cylinders high-voltage wiring scheme since they may not tolerate sustained reversed polarity. If the ignition system switches polarity every spark, they should be OK. I dunno if it does this though - it is unlikely. -Andy Andy Poling Internet: andy@jhunix.hcf.jhu.edu UNIX Systems Programmer Bitnet: ANDY@JHUNIX Homewood Academic Computing Voice: (410)516-8096 Johns Hopkins University UUCP: uunet!mimsy!aplcen!jhunix!andy
