The Puget Sound Chapter has published rules for their official Top Down "World"  
Championship. The current record is something like 42 seconds. We plan on  
challenging other chapters to beat our "world record".

You start with two people in the car, top up (& rear window unzipped to prevent  
damage) and key in the trunk. You must fold down the top, install the boot  
(including all snaps and the little loops that hold the cover tight) and get  
back in the car.

I'm sure that Bill Allen (Bill.Allen@metrokc.gov) would be glad to send copies  
of the official rules to interested chapters.
