I think Jack McComb's contest was in regard to what extreme we were willing to sacrifice our tops - I mean numb our brain - I mean drive with the top down! ;^) Some people seem willing to brave all kinds of crazy weather for the sake of being topless. His idea of having the contest in the upper midwest was to see just who is willing to drop the top at -20F while it's snowing and the wind is blowing at 40mph....right Jack? The Puget Sound's competition is more of a see who can drop it and put it back up the fastest (in warm weather). BTW, I'm in favor of starting that competition on the right coast and having east vs. west runoffs at the Indy gathering - any takers? Baltimore folks, you may want to plan on seeing this competition in April or May... Bill Allen or Alan Dahl - any insight into how to run your competition cleanly and succesfully? (I have the event rules in one of the newsletters you sent me). -alex-
